About me
I have 10-years of experience working with children, parents, and families. I have also been a clinical supervisor for over 3 years. As a therapist, I view people and therapy through a person-centered lens. This means that I believe every person has all the knowledge and resources available within themselves to solve their own problems and become who they want to be. It’s my role, as a therapist, to help them sort through it all and figure it out. I teach my clients how to understand themselves, utilize their strengths and resources, develop useful skills to manage their lives, and feel better. I help people develop self-esteem, coping skills, social skills, and emotional resilience. I also support parents in the difficult task of parenting and maintaining a healthy relationship with their child in today’s complicated world. I like to be my authentic self in session, keep it real, and encourage my clients to do the same. I absolutely love helping people through therapy and I’m not afraid to walk alongside you while you confront the hardest, scariest aspects of your life.
I am with you.
On a more personal note, I’m a mom and a wife. We have a big, goofy golden retriever. I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, hosting family get-togethers, and binging true crime shows. I’m happiest when just hanging out at home with my family. As a child, I spent time in foster care which led to a passion for understanding healthy family dynamics and working with kids and families. I spent the past 9 years serving families in community mental health.
